Wellies is one of six new polishes from Butter London’s Color Clash Collection, soon to be released for Fall 2013. For more details on the entire collection click here. This “chartreuse” shade is a bold & vibrant (almost neon) colour that you would never expect to see for Fall. It can be best described as a lime green with yellow undertones.
I applied three coats of nail lacquer and a top coat to get the colour you see in the photos below. The formula wears very well without chipping but applied streaky when applying the first coat. The opacity of the polish improved with each additional coat applied.
I love pairing this polish with dark denim or a black maxi dress in the Summer. It adds an unexpected pop of colour to your outfit that looks like an accessory in itself! It looks great with a tan too.
