Next month, OPI is scheduled to release their latest nail lacquer collection for Holiday 2013. The collection was inspired by recording artist and international superstar Mariah Carey and includes a total of 18 new limited edition shades. The shade range incorporates an assortment of red, burgundy, maroon and chocolate brown hues, as well as glitter-packed gold, bronze and pearl shades. The Mariah Carey Holiday Collection also features six new Liquid Sand lacquers, ranging from icy blue to frosted pink to sparkling graphite. Each of the Liquid Sand shades showcases OPI’s groundbreaking technology for a textured, matte finish infused with reflective sparkle. (note: Liquid Sand lacquers look best when worn without a top coat)
Each of the lacquers in this Collection are seasonally on-trend and great options for Fall/Winter. The 18 polishes are said to evoke the warmth, beauty, energy and positive spirit of Mariah’s music. The collection is all about glitter, texture and reds and is one of the largest we’ve seen in awhile. After seeing live swatches on Youtube, I am personally loving Underneath the Mistletoe, It’s Frosty Outside and Kiss Me At Midnight.
