Tarte’s Amazonian Clay blushes created quite the stir when they first launched a few years ago and have remained one of their best selling products to this day. Their nutrient-rich fade-free formula is infused with natural clay that has been harvested from the banks of the Amazon River. The blushes are then naturally baked by the sun. Known for their pigment and long-wearing properties, the blushes provide a flawless finish and come in a variety of gorgeous shades.
The “Off the Cuff Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush Palette“ contains four Amazonian Clay blushes and an Amazonian Clay Bronzer. It also comes with a beautiful bracelet that reminds me of something you’d see at Kate Spade.

Product Details:
The palette houses 4 x 0.158oz Amazonian Clay blushes and 1 x Amazonian Clay bronzer of the same size. For reference, the Amazonian blushers and bronzers in the permanent range are slightly larger (0.20oz each) and sell for $31 CDN each! Three of the five shades included in this palette are part of the permanent range. Each of the shades have excellent pigmentation and a soft, silky texture. Some are a bit powdery but they blend out extremely well and are very easy to work with. I experienced minimal fallout and this occurred only with a few shades. The Amazonian range claims to last 12 hours on the skin and although these are long-wearing, I got about 8-9 hours of wear before having to reapply. The bronzer works great as a contouring shade and is a great option for any skin tone (even fair skin). It would have been nice to see the inclusion of a lighter shade for highlighting but overall I’ve really been enjoying this palette and would highly recommend it. It’s a wonderful palette (not to mention a great deal!) for anyone that isn’t a fan of shimmer and wants a good range of face powders in one convenient palette.
The Shades:
CRAVE (Limited Edition Shade) – bright pink-coral with a satin finish (warm-toned) This shade has slight red undertones and is more wearable than it appears in the pan.
DAZZLED (Permanent Shade) – soft rose with berry/purple undertones and a satin finish (warm-toned). This shade has the slightest bit of gold shimmer that comes off as more of a ‘sheen’ on the skin.
DARLING (Limited Edition) – nude peachy melon with a touch of rose and a matte finish.
DOLLFACE (Permanent Shade) – light barbie pink with blue undertones and a satin finish (cool-toned)
PARK AVE. PRINCESS (Permanent Bronzer Shade) – golden brown with a matte finish. This shade does not have any orange undertones and is great for contouring. (warm-toned)

Packaging:
The palette itself is gold and sparkly. It fastens with a durable magnetic closure and features a large sized mirror. I like that it does NOT include any unnecessary applicators since I usually toss those out anyways.

The Extra:
Included with this palette is an eco-chic, cute leather (it might be faux leather?) cuff bracelet with a rose-gold bow. It’s actually a really nice touch and not the type of extra that you’re likely to toss aside. Makes a great accessory!
