My 8-year-old daughter is quite the little fashionista! She loves trying new things when it comes to style and doesn’t care whether it makes sense or not. She’s getting better at matching colours and patterns but the one thing that is an absolute MUST for her is comfort. At about the age of 6, she started battling me when I wanted her to wear jeans or anything constricting. If it had a button or zipper and it wasn’t made of cotton then she wouldn’t wear it! Things have improved a bit since then but she can still be quite finicky. She knows what she likes and is only willing to compromise if there is comfort involved. I guess I shouldn’t complain. She is strong-willed like her mama bear.
“Fashion and style are a creative form of self-expression and no one knows this better than Barbie®. For decades, Barbie® has used the latest trends from around the world to express herself and her own personal style. This month, Barbie® is encouraging little ones to #BeSuper by using their own #SuperStyle and to show the world who they are inside. Kids love to express themselves through their fashion choices. Now, with the Barbie® Fashionista dolls, they can take this one step further and use the dolls to outwardly express what makes them beautiful on the inside to showcase their uniqueness and individuality”.
