Dixie Outlet Mall Outfit Reveal: Fall Blogger Challenge

Hi Beauties! As you know, I’ve been working with Dixie Outlet Mall on the She Who Hunts Finds challenge. If you missed my teaser post, check it out here. As I mentioned, Dixie Outlet Mall asked me to take part in their blogger challenge…. this time for Fall and of course I said yes! Armed with a $200 gift card and a pretty good idea of what I was looking for, I set out to Dixie Mall last Sunday – on the hunt for something like these adorable fall outfits. I spent the first hour or so, checking out my favourite shops and gathering some ideas for that perfect Fall outfit. I’m very happy with the deals that I scored. I managed to pick out a great Fall outfit, with two shoe & accessory options for less than $200 taxes in. Keep reading for photos and a breakdown of prices & savings! And, stay tuned for your chance to win a $200 gift card to Canada’s largest outlet mall!!

Although I didn’t really have a game plan this time around, I did know that I wanted to find a new pair of boots for Fall and a handbag. As you know I absolutely love handbags and have a few designer pieces in my collection. That being said, a friend of mine told me that she managed to find a replica bag at a great price online the other day. I had no idea it was a replica as it looked almost as good as the real thing! Replica bags are hugely popular nowadays and are well worth checking out if you are on a budget. Anyway, I started out at Winners and immediately spotted this adorable leather handbag by the brand colab. I figured it would go well with just about any casual outfit and thought that $49.99 was also a great deal for a leather bag so I picked it up. It was a good find considering I have similar products to this Leather Honey leather conditioner & cleaner somewhere in storage! Better go find that!

A bunch of stores in the mall were having great sales on jeans but I ultimately chose these dark wash skinny jeans from Guess. I liked the way they fit me and they were super cheap. (only $35 – regular $98.00!) Right around the corner from Guess was the Dynamite/Garage clearance centre. It was there that I found a great oversized sweater for only $10! I had to check the tag a few times to make sure that it wasn’t a mistake but it was right and undoubtedly the best score of the day!. Next, I needed boots and although I almost bought a cute pair of fringe booties at Sirens, I opted for a more casual version (these ones aren’t stilettos and have a chunky heel) which I found at Urban Planet. The suede booties I chose have great fringe detail and were really cozy so they just had to come home with me. To finish off the outfit I went to Aldo and picked out this plaid scarf. It wasn’t on sale but fairly priced at $20. I absolutely love infinity scarves for Fall & Winter and I really liked the plaid print.

Surprisingly, I still had money to spend so I wandered into Nine West (the sales in Nine West were insane!) and picked out a pair of black pointed pumps. You can never go wrong with a pair of black heels and I figured they would also help dress up the outfit I chose so I convinced myself that I needed options. At this point I had just a few bucks left so I went to Claire’s and sure enough they had a clearance rack. I picked out these adorable gold & black cluster bracelets that were marked down to only $2.00.

I think I’m getting pretty good at these challenges! This time around I only came within a penny of the $200 budget when I factored in all of the taxes. Crazy right? I got a head-to-toe Fall outfit with interchangeable accessories and two shoe options. I think I did alright! Overall I saved $194.50 (almost what I spent!) by buying this outfit at Dixie Outlet Mall. What do you think of what I picked out?
