Happy Saturday lovelies! I debated whether to mention the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Blush Glow ($75 CAD) palette on this site for quite some time because it launched in July as a limited edition product. However, you guys know that when I love something THIS MUCH I need to make sure everyone knows about it! I don’t think I’m alone in wishing that this palette comes back for the Holidays or in a future Tilbury release and when it does, you’ll want to make sure that you get your hands on one! The palette is a variation of Charlotte’s original Filmstar Bronze & Glow duo that includes a beautiful sculpting shade and an iconic J-Lo-inspired highlighter.
The new powder duo by Charlotte Tilbury includes a gorgeous, bronzing powder for contouring and a radiant, soft coral/pink blush. The bronzer is a blend of super-flattering pearls and pigments that help contour the face and mimic the look of naturally sun-kissed skin. It is one of the nicest formulas that I’ve ever used! The blusher contains finely crushed pearls that impart a pretty pink flush and gives skin an instant “blush of youth”.
From what I’ve read (I do not own the bronzer/highlighter duo to compare), the bronze shade in this palette is lighter than its predecessor, making it a better option for fair to light skin tones. The formula blends easily, doesn’t look the slightest bit muddy and adds a gorgeous warm sheen to the skin. The blush is also stunning and has the loveliest golden sheen to it. It isn’t sparkly or frosted, but it does give off the prettiest luminosity and looks so natural on the skin.
If the rose gold packaging of this Charlotte Tilbury palette doesn’t initially draw you in, then the quality should! Fingers crossed, she releases this again and soon!
