PRESS DAYS Fall/Winter 2013: Accessories Edition featuring Cocoa Jewelry, Raindrops & Watch It!

I recently attended my first ever PRESS DAYS event hosted by Lotus Leaf Communications. It was a great way to get to know the brands they represent, see Fall/Winter items and ask questions about upcoming trends. A special thank you to Daliah, who coordinated my tour, and who is always so professional, knowledgeable and incredibly sweet! There was so much to see and I definitely walked away with an appreciation for brands I’d never heard of before. Since the accessories stood out to me the most, I decided to focus this post solely on items from Cocoa Jewelry, Rain Drops, and Watch It,. Take a look at some of their upcoming pieces/products available now and throughout the Summer/Fall! Cocoa Jewelry: I loved their “Statement Pieces”

Cocoa Jewelry (as seen on TV’s Dragon’s Den) is a fresh-faced and fashion-forward accessories brand that offers high-end, quality design with an unbelievably affordable price tag. Founded in 2009 by a husband and wife team, Cocoa Jewelry is focused on creating superior, on-trend jewelry while maintaining an affordable and realistic price point. Jewelry prices range from $10-60 and can be found at Target and Shoppers Drug Mart Beauty Boutique locations across Canada. The brand is quickly becoming one of my favourites for career and statement pieces. I especially love the uniqueness of their pieces and that they use high quality materials (i.e. velvet, leather, etc) that delivers a designer-inspired jewelry experience on a budget. When looking at the upcoming collection, all I could think of was how “regal” it looked. Here are some snap shots of upcoming pieces for Summer, Fall/Winter 2013:

Raindrops, is Canada’s most unique and trendsetting rainwear boutique. Owned and operated by a mother-daughter team, Raindrops carries a large range of stylish and unique umbrellas (over 800+ styles!) as well as raincoats, seasonal coats/jackets, rain hats and waterproof boots. Brands include Jane Post, Aigle, Joules, Sanyo New York, Fulton, Guy de Jean, Pasotti, Jean Paul Gaultier, Kidorable and more and prices range from $10-$795 Canadian. Raindrops is located at the Concourse level of The Holt Renfrew Centre at 50 Bloor Street West in Toronto.

Watch It is Canada’s boutique retail destination for the latest styles in watches, sunglasses and accessories from brands like Michael Kors, Fossil, Nixon, Diesel, Timex and Marc by Marc Jacobs, just to name a few. It is a 100% Canadian owned and operated business with retail locations across Canada. My favourite piece at the event was a gorgeous rose gold Michael Kors watch with a tortoise link chain.
