Always one of the hottest tickets at WMCFW is Canada’s own Joe Fresh. The wallet-friendly brand offers a modern style that is classic and beams confidence. I’ve been a huge fan of Joe Mimran’s work for years! As a Joe Fresh #virtualfrontrow blogger, I was sent exclusive photos and video before and after the show. The Joe Fresh collection did not disappoint and featured pops of orange (of course!), “faux hawk” hats, zipper details and chunky knits. I think what makes this show such a standout is that all of the pieces are wearable, comfortable, sophisticated & fun. There were a lot of neutrals, some prints and elements of texture like leather and fur. The dramatic coats & over sized scarves and clutches also captivated attention. I had a blast at the show and am really looking forward to seeing the collection in stores. The collection “inspired the spirit with unrestrained adventure” and had everyone wishing Fall was here already! Take a look!

Joe Fresh Beauty
The Joe Fresh beauty look was fresh and simple with the focal point being “rosy-cheeks”. Grace Lee wanted the girls to look as if they’d just come in from the cold. After being prepped with Maybelline New York Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser, Grace perfected the skin using Dream Fresh BB Cream and added Dream Bouncy Blush in “Pink Plum” to the lower cheeks to mimic flushed, cold skin. For the eyes, Grace mixed Baby Lips and Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Shadow in “Too Cool” for an icy veil of shimmer. For the lashes, one mascara simply wasn’t enough so Grace layered Volum’ Express The Rocket and Pumped Up! Colossal – her two favourites – for some serious volume. She finished the look with one of The Buffs Nude Lipsticks – each model’s shade was chosen to match her natural lip colour.

The Redken team, lead by the talented Jorge Joao worked diligently to create a tousled side braided ponytail that was meant to look like it had been bundled up under a hat all day. Standout products used were the new Pillow Proof Blow Dry Express Primer and infamous Fashion Work 12 Hairspray (both by Redken).
