For those of you that really like OPI’s Liquid Sand formula (textured polishes), you’ll be excited to hear that OPI is coming out with an entire collection of Liquid Sand nail lacquers called Bond Girls in May. Liquid Sand polishes have a textured, matte finish and a reflective sparkle to them and were first introduced with the Mariah Carey Collection back in January and then again with the OZ, the Great & Powerful Collection with What Wizardry is This?

Each of the 6 new polishes in OPI’s Bond Girls Liquid Sand Collection have the same formula consistency. I quickly swatched a few as soon as they arrived on my doorstep and they all seem to have excellent opacity and pigmentation. It is a matter of preference whether you use a top coat with these but it is recommended that they be worn without one to accentuate the matte textured finish. I never really liked the whole crackle trend but when Liquid Sand came out, I knew it would stick around for awhile.
