The Sarah Stevenson for Target Collection launched in stores on March 23, 2014 and depending on where you live, you may still be able to get your hands on it! The up-and-coming designer won Toronto Fashion Incubator’s New Labels Fashion Design Competition in 2013 and then partnered with Target to create this exclusive collection which features dresses, pants, blouses and a statement blazer. The collection includes 15 pieces that range in price from $24.99-$59.99 CAD.
“Staying true to Stevenson’s design aesthetic, the collection features richly-hued florals and feminine, sophisticated styles. Inspired by nature, specifically flowers she saw throughout Toronto last spring, the collection evokes a timeless, elegant and romantic feel”.
I usually stock my wardrobe with basics and neutrals and while bold prints are definitely outside my personal comfort zone, I do really like the blue Satin Laser Cut and Chiffon Poppies Dresses below. I also love the black Pull-on Pants but wonder if they’d look as good on me as they do on the model? Probably not! Another “check-out” worthy piece from this uber feminine collection is the White Iris Bouquet Tunic, which would pair nicely with leggings or skinny jeans.
